Seagate goflex desk for mac 2tb review

Basically my external HDD works fine if I boot to windows and then plug it into a USB 3.0 port, but if I leave it plugged in as I'd like to and reboot or shutdown and come back to it the drive won't spin. The GoFlex Desk desktop external hard disk, Seagate GoFlex drive.
